Luis was born in Madrid, Spain in 1981. After finishing his degree he went to live in Kenya (Lamu, Mombassa and Nairobi) and work in the cooperation field for the last five years, during which he has sought out local leaders to provide them with support for community projects, working closely with them in Maasailand and Kibera.

Luis has a degree in communication from Endicott College in Beverly Massachusetts and a master in International Cooperation from the University of Oviedo, Spain.

All his work is with community groups and with a view to making a small but permanent, self-sustainable difference in the lives of the needy.

Project Coordinator in Maasailand

Peter was born in 1988 in Olmaroroi, Maasailand. He finished his Primary and Secondary education in the local school. After his graduation he started working at the Olmaroroi Primary school, teaching from class four to eight. Peter participated in a one month lasting workshop about HIV/ AIDS to extend his knowledge. Among his future goals are studying Human Resource Management and dedicate his time to enhance the development of the Maasai community. In 2009 he started working for Jambo Volunteers and is responsible for the coordination of our projects in Maasailand.

Project Coordinator in Kibera

Was born in 1979 and completed her Primary education in 1993. Anne achieved a Superior degree in 1997. She graduated from College where she has been taken classes in Community Development and Project Management throughout one year. In 2002 she received her Diploma. During the past three yeas she has been working in the field of development cooperation and gained experience with an international NGO. She was involved in the work of Jambo Volunteers from beginning on and now is responsible for managing the part of the administration. Anne's goal is to be focused, effective and resourceful in helping to provide a conductive environment, to enrich the lives of the community as a whole, thus by providing them with better living conditions.
